The Recipe
- 1/4 cup (2 oz.) Pisco and Angostura Bitters
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon pasteurized egg white
The Preparation
In a blender, whirl 3 ice cubes, pisco, sugar, fresh lime juice, and egg whites. Whirl until smooth (you'll no longer hear the ice cracking against the side of the blender) and serve straight up in a martini glass with a lime.

ReplyDeleteI remember backpacking in the Sierras at 11,000 feet, and the air was pretty thin! Hard to imagine a CITY operating at over this level?!! Cuzco must be an amazing city! ... and I'll bet those Pisco sours add to the enjoyment! I'm sure enjoying this blog and the vicarious pleasure it provides! Keep up the good work!
