Sacred Lake Titicaca

Lake Titicaca is a beautiful and fascinating lake that lies on the border between Peru and Bolivia. In Andean belief, Titicaca is the birthplace of the sun. In addition, it’s the largest lake in South America and the highest navigable body of water in the world.

Pretty sites amd sights

Linda: "After one night rest, we were all well adjusted to the altitude. We learned that key is taking it easy, taking deep breaths and keeping hydrated!
Linda dressed up as a "single for the moment" woman, indicated by her hat!  What?!

Today's featured couple: The Yungs

What a lovely couple! Sweet and kind.
David is the eldest of the group which did not prevent him from hiking up to the top of the archaeological site !! Check it out on the photo below! Well done, David! This is what keeps you both healthy and fit. Welcome to the Seto Travel Club, Kathy and David!

The Yungs moved to Halifax in 1966. They have four children and seven grandchildren.
David has been a faculty member at Dalhousie for 32 years until he retired in 1998.
All of his friends know him as  righteous and unflappable. This morning he sent an e-mail to me  " wish you were here with us". Thank you so much, David and I wish I was there....
